a whole new look

When I first launched my website a few months ago, I did it in a bit of a rush. It took me quite a while to design it and I had high hopes for it, but I realised soon after that it wasn’t exactly what I wanted.

The decision to make a website in the first place, was to have my own official place where I could offer my designs and knitwear. But after working on my previous website platform, I just couldn’t figure out how to do so without messing up the whole website. So… I just made some blog posts and linked my designs back to Ravelry and Etsy.

Not only that, but the whole interface of that website was a bit too complicated for my own likings. It didn’t really made me want to create new content for it, so I ended up just kinda leaving it… there.

But that’s not what I wanted, right?

So a few weeks ago it I decided it was time to do a little make over. I invested some money for a platform that I felt more confident using (hello, Squarespace) and I started re-designing it.

The result of that work it what you can see today and I have to say, I’m pretty proud of it! Yes, I might still tweak it a little bit in the future, but this is way more closer to what I envisioned.
